Wales.

I got sent to Wales a couple weeks ago as apparently it was the best for me & my safety. So I went to a valley and stayed with my grandparents in a caravan near Dolgellau (pronounced Dog-eth-ly) and with no wi-fi suffered for 5 days. But by the end I knew that I was actually going to miss that place, it was so peaceful that with life being so hard at the moment it was nice to stop and take a break. When I first arrived it was terrible - I was bored out of mind, had brought the wrong revision books so no useful revision for me and I was left to read my entire library on my iPad. But by the end I didn't want to leave, I had really got attached to this place. Now I wasn't expecting that to happen and the fact that my 10-year old brother was there it did put a 'twist' on things. But I still enjoyed being there away from it all.

The trip helped me to really rethink my life and to reprioritise, after everything I've been through the past 4 years I'm starting to get things in to order and being away from everything for even just a few days really helped me.

This Week's Obsession

It has been so long since I did one of these posts - and I have seriously missed telling you about what I've been loving!

So the Game Of Thrones. It is an amazing TV series and sadly I'm still only on the first series. :( I'm also reading the books at the same time (I'm on the second) and I must say I am enjoying them so much! There is a very deep plot with many twist and turns that I'm enjoying as this is the first time I've ever read/watched this type of series as I've never been the type of person to enjoy medieval/fantasy fiction genre series.

I must warn if you are not a 'fan' of nudity or somewhat explicit scenes (not that I'm a 'fan' of them either) but if you don't like them then this series may not be the one for you simply because of the sheer amount of those type of scenes.

Pink Hair Experience

My Pink Hair Experience

The final FINAL product!

The first product I used!

2 weeks ago I broke up for the Easter half term and decided ... I wanted pink hair! So at first I bought the product above because I had heard good things about the brand & I was looking for a pastel shade anyway. When I first tried this on my already very light hair it turned parts of my hair peachy toned and the rest quite dark - so obviously I was NOT impressed!

Thankfully I had some leftover Directions dye (above)in the shade TULIP from last summer when I dip dyed my hair pink. So I mixed some with a pot of deep conditioner and applied it all over my hair. And I finally got the result seen above and I was SO happy!! And as I kept washing my hair it faded beautifully to a pastel rose tone!

Final Verdict :

It was probably the best thing I have ever done with my hair and I loved very second I had my pink hair - although I did miss my blonde hair! oops

EXAMS

Well the exams are finally over!
They officially finished on Friday with my last exam being Economics (yay)! I must say that now it is over I am just so relaxed! I've also come to realise that if anything staying on top of school work helps in the long run with making revision a hell of a lot smoother and easier.
So the lesson of these hellish 2 weeks is :

Keep yo sh*t organised
(and pay attention in class)

Benefit Hoola Bronzer Review

Benefit Hoola Bronzer

This is, hands down, my all time favourite bronzer! Now I admit I haven't tried the Nars Laguna bronzer so sadly I can not compare this with it but I can say that this is well worth the money. It is £23 so it is on the more pricier side of things however this product lasts for ages so it won't be a product you use up in a month!

It's great if you're looking for something that can bring a natural warmth to your face and because it's matte it's great for contouring first timers!

The only downside, for me, is the packaging. Don't get me wrong Benefit packaging is always gorgeous and the same applies here. The only problem is that unlike the old Benefit box blush packaging there is a hinge on the lid so that if you wanted to you could use the mirror. This mirror however makes use of the product incredibly difficult especially if you're on the go.

That being said though this is a great product that I recommend to all!

First Impressions : Benefit Lemon Aid Eye Primer

Benefit Lemon Aid Eye Primer

I bought this primer a couple of days ago and have used it twice since but I thought I would do a first impressions post on it and then later on when I've used it a bit more I will do a proper review on it; also I will be uploading a video soon as well over on my YouTube channel

I really like this product so far, it's light on my eyes so it doesn't weigh down your eyes because of it being to heavy. I've noticed that so far my eyeshadow has stayed on all day while using this.
And the best bit ... IT ACTUALLY SMELLS OF LEMONS!!
o mi gosh I know ridiculous, right?

Catch Up Time! ...

So hi gals,

I thought that it was only appropriate to chat to you guys for a bit and get you all caught up!
Now if you were to look in my beloved journal you would find a MASSIVE  list of all the blog posts and videos I want to upload and give you guys however at the moment I'm revising for my Year 10 Mocks.

For any of you who don't know what GCSEs are or Mocks basically GSCEs are like numerous high school diplomas in different subjects that we take the exams at the end of Year 11. Mocks are basically practise exams.

So my Mocks are in 2 weeks and I is slightllllly stressed. So my schedule is jam-packed with 15 hours revision a week plus revision classes and trying to squeeze a trip to the gym in as well. So I'm sorry if I'm lacking over the next couple of weeks but at least you'll know why.
